the sweetest...

Addison has a sweet little friendship with Kate, he just adores her and when ever they play together they have a fabulous time.

I wanted to document this sweet relationship.I have used one of LRR's apple buttons. I simply layered it over a piece of chipboard and glued it on with silicone glue. Quick and simple but just adds a sweet little touch to my layout.I have also added a lovely paper doily that I know will be on sale next Friday 15th May.

till next time...

Inspiration from Kim and some myths and facts cleared up.

Here's another Gorgeous LO by KIM.
Kim has used a 1 1/2 inch street sign button and a medium red gingham button which comes in a set of 2 with the red apple buttons.
Thanks for sharing with us Kim it is AWESOME as always.
Under the street sign you may also notice a small paper doily. These little doilies are so sweet and measure just 9cm. Doilies this small are rare and incredibly hard to find, thats why I bought 750 of them LOL.
I love these little doilies not just because of their cute size but because they have a star pattern so they are perfect for boy or girl LOs.
So for the next little while you will be receiving a few of these along with some other cool stuff in your Thank You goody bags, which I include for any orders over $5.00 before postage.

OK on to the Myths and Facts. Some of you may find this part of the post a little boring but for others it may clear some unanswered questions up.
I get asked questions about Etsy and Pay pal alot so I thought Id take some time to answer the most frequently asked questions.

Q1. How do I purchase things on Etsy without Paypal.
A. Well unfortunately you cant, unless you contact the seller directly and ask if they accept direct deposit into their bank account.

Q2.Do I need a credit card to use Paypal
A. Well the good news is NO. You can set up Paypal to debit straight from your bank account. YAY! and the seller will never know your personal account details as the transaction is handled by Paypal.

Q3. Does it cost me anything to use Paypal.
A. More good news NO. The fees are charged to the seller.

Q4.Why is Etsy all in US dollars.
A. Well its not anymore you can now shop in AU dollars which takes all the guess work out of it.

I hope that has cleared up some of the questions that you may have about Etsy and Paypal and I hope it encourages you to have a go at Esty shopping because there is sooooo much yummy shopping to be found there so to end here's a few of my favourite sellers.
but thats just a small selection of the awesome shops on Etsy where you can get the best stuff for your scrapbooking so if you get a chance, why not check them out but be warned Etsy shopping is seriously addictive. TFL.

14 July 2010

More Yummy creations from Kim and some sneaks.

First up the sneaks. Lots more vintage labels. I have many more sets with different designs available. These really are a steal at $1.60 for 5. I was doing a little bit of esty browsing the other day when i saw just one of the exact same labels I sell listed for $3.00USD I couldn't believe it. So you see mine really are great value.

More vintage tickets sold in a set of 8. Four pink and 4 turquoise. How YUM are those colours together?

More pretty blooms in a spring mix (the perfect match for the new vintage tickets) and..........................
an Autumn/Fall mix sold in sets of 3. Each bloom is full and pretty with a total of 12 layers.
I have some really cute mini Yo yo flowers to list in the shop too but Ill save them for later.

And lastly but by no means least is this Awesme LO by KIM. Its so adorable I just love it all.
Kim has used one of the new retro boy buttons and a Lil owl button on this page.
The retro boy buttons are 1 1/2 inches round and come in a set with a cute little dog featured on the second button. They will be making their grand debut soon along with a couple of other button designs that I am keeping under my hat til their launch.
Lil owl buttons have been a great seller and I don't have much fabric left so Im on the look out for some funky new owl designs.
OK thats about all the shares for today. Im hoping to have the shop open later this week and Ill be back to let you know when thats done so stay tuned.
TFL.

07 July 2010

more sneaks and more inspiration.

What would the LRR blog be with out a button sneak. Buttons are still one of our best sellers and I believe our trade mark product.
Im having so much fun with the new sizes we offer and it has opened up a whole new world of 'fabric goodness' to me,.
So here's a sneak or 3 of our newest buttons in the 1 1/2 inch size range.
Peter Rabbit, Retro boy and Retro girl buttons.
I think the Peter Rabbit buttons might just be a new fav for me. I cant wait to make a card for my new sweet baby nephew 'Levi' with one of these little guys.

Ive also been working on some new flowers for the shop. I really like the way these turned out.
They have a generous 12 layers of fabric and netting so they are really full and pretty.
Im hoping to get some more sets in different colours made up before the shop re opens.
So stay tuned.

Now on to some inspiration................

I love this LO by KIM. The peacock feather, the charm, the chippy banner and that splash of red, just gorgeous.
Kim has used lots of LRR goodies on this LO including mini playing card, owl button and a vintage milk top. TFS Kim.

Ill have more inspiration soon from some fabulous customers and maybe something from me too.
TFL.
