anyone for cake?

Hello there! I'm very excited to be sharing my very first DT project using some gorgeous LRR embellies! :) I've scrapped this layout of my youngest daughter Jem and her birthday cake..it's also for the current Scrap the Girls challenge..

I've used some black and white twine to wrap around the photo and tied off with a bow.. and this cute little monster tag matched the colour scheme perfectly..

A large bingo card was used behind the photo and I've cut a vintage camera journal card in half...only using the top section, and then punched a circle to reveal the number 13 underneath..my daughter's age.. I've finished off with a spotty 'smile' flag..

Thanks so much for stopping by..I'll be back later this week to share another project or two :)

My first share

Hi all, Malinda here...my first share with you all!

I haven't scrapped much this month but when I got my goodies weeks ago I quickly scrapped 2 pages and have been itching to finish a third and a fourth that I have started...perhaps tonight!

First up is my page for the quote challenge at SCRAPBOOKING FROM SCRATCH for March.

I used the LARGE button as my basis for the whole layout. It told me what colours to use, in fact I picked the photo after deciding to use the button on my layout.
I love twirling the TWINE around the buttons at the moment, makes a feature out of both the BUTTON and the TWINE.

My 2nd page to show you is my sample page I did for Beyond the Door.

The FLAG was just perfect for this page, how cute is my son, Henry in the Jolly Jumper!

Right well I hope I'll be back later this week with more to share...I have more flags and buttons to use and lots of ideas for them. Hope you'll be getting out your LRR buttons, flags and twine this week.

Christmas and more ...

Hello everyone!  It's Chloe here with some more pages to share :-)  I've been playing along with some blog challenges and find there's always a Lil' Red Rocket embellishment that suits perfectly :-)

First up is "Christmas Fairy"... a pic taken at our annual Christmas photo shoot and my DD just loved dressing up as a Christmas Fairy :-)

Love these versatile spotty buttons (I think I say that everytime LOL) ... and the red and green twine ... perfect for a Christmas theme :-)

A vintage Santa bottletop, more twine another spotty button and a flower cabochon ...

Next up is a boy page :-)

On this page I've used yet another spotty button, a gorgeous spotty flower and black and white twine :-)
That's all from me for now ...
Thanks for visiting and sharing the LRR love :-)

I {heart} LRR buttons & flags....

It's not often I get to scrap these days, but when I do get a chance I can't STOP.... & I was happy to join in on a Cybercrop and here are a few challenges I completed.... using some LRR on each page {also happy to scrap each of my children too!}

This layout I used the spotty "smile" LRR flag....

Not being biased or anything but HOW CUTE is this little thang???

I just had to use the cutest LRR girly button on the page :)

My beautiful girl Harmony was soooo sweet - for Valentines Day she gave me a hand-made card with her on little note in it.... I had to scrap about it...

I couldn't resist using the RED heart button from LRR - absolutely PERFECT for the layout!!!

I hope I've inspired you to get out your LRR goodies and have a play!!!

Happy Scrapping!

Love Charmane

All things girly ...

OK, I'll admit it, I love pink :-) ... in fact, I planned this whole page around that gorgeous pink LRR felt flower!

You'll also notice a star paper doily (cut in half - on each end of my page) ... these are another fav of mine - they just suit everything!!

Tucked under the flower are a couple of flower cabochons too - how sweet they are :-) :-)

Here's another girly page (based on the Scrap the Girls challenge this month actually!):

tucked in there is a little birdy button :-) :-)
and you'll also spot more star doilies!!  ;-)
Well, that's all from me at the moment, have a great week LRR fans!!!
