More LRR goodness!

Hi everyone....it's Linda here popping in to share some of my creations using a variety of Lil' Red Rocket embellishements!  Enjoy....

First up .....

Doin' the twist - (Sketchabilities sketch # 68)

I've used quite a few LRR embellies on this one.  2 fabric buttons - a black & white spotted one as the centre of my handmade hessian lollipop flower (these buttons are the perfect size for flower centres!), & also the one with yellow circles (this button comes in the yellow mix set of 3 buttons)  at the top of my photos.  I've also used one of the cute little "adore" flags, a vintage quote tag & a paper doily partially tucked in under my photos .

Next up ....

Row, Row, Row your boat - Sketchabilities sketch # 69

This layout features more fabric buttons (oh how I love LRR buttons!) a black checked button (again from the black mix set of 3) & a little teal coloured bug button, that went so well with the colours in my layout :)....and a little calendar tag from the 2012 brights mix calendar tags - I love these little calendars!  They are the perfect size & such a fun variety of colours in the pack!

And lastly....

Being your Dad (Creative Scrappers sketch # 205 + My Minds Eye April challenge - hexagons)

This layout features the ever so cute XL owl button, that is soooo adorable & a perfect colour match with the rest of my layout....and also the gorgeous Turquoise chiffon flower, which is made with 7 layers of gorgeous chiffon...they really are a beautiful handmade flower & would suit any style of layout!

Well that's all for now folks....I hope you have been inspired by these gorgeous LRR goodies :)
Take care & thanks for dropping by.  xx

Simple and easy!!!!

Hi again everyone! its Ebony again. I just popped in to show you not only some of my creations but one of my son Will's using Lil Red Rocket embellishments!
What I love about Shell's embellishments is not only that they are so funky and cool but they are so versatile and easy to use!!!!
Recently at "Show us your stuff" challenge site a kids challenge has been started. It's called "Sophie's corner.
Each month your children can enter a layout or project just using a simple criteria!
So my children had a go last month and Will found one of the cool little orange robot buttons in my stash and really wanted to use one!!! So up first is Will's layout! (Will is 8 years old)
He created a layout about his love of drawing! See they are so easy to use even kids can use them!!!!!

Ok next are some layouts I have created....
This one I created for a challenge on "Polly scrap kits"
I LOVE these little vintage like animal butttons!!! So sweet and gentle!!! Perfect for little kids layouts!!!
                                                                  Sorry poor pic!!!

The next is based on an awesome sketch ...the April the 1st sketch at Stuck! sketches!!!
a photo of my kiddies and I.....entitled "Full time mum....payment is pure love"

I LOVE this flower!!!!!! I bought it one of Shell's retro girl kits!!!
Once again, funky and so easy to use!!!!

Well thanks for popping by, Eb xxx

I heart buttons...

hi all, I'm here to share a layout using a couple of my favourite LRR items today... Ever since I started scrapping 5 years ago I have loved using buttons on my layouts and cards.. all sizes, colours and styles ~ I think they're the perfect way to add a bit of eye catching colour and dimension to a page...

this heart button is so sweet and really 'pops' on the page...I've teamed it with a couple of other buttons and layers of paint/ink, paper scraps, dress pattern and old book paper punched shapes..

I've used the bottom half of a vintage photo card for journaling (I used the top half on a previous layout)

thanks so much for visiting!

So ...

How was everyone's Easter break?  Hope you all had a lovely time and took lots of pics to scrap ;-)
I have a couple of projects for you today -
This one is of my little boy...

Using a spotty LRR button, some journal spots (these were Christmas ones, but I hid the picture ;-) ), and some twine!!

Next up is a card...

The big beautiful ladybug button is LRR and the twine is too :-) :-).  I just love adding twine to all my projects :-).  I can never have enough twine.  See, there's more twine colours in the LRR store too!!!  Check them out!!!

That's all for now, have a happy scrappy week!!

New Twine.

Yes we have new twine. I have just added these 3 new colours to our twine range and they are available in store now.
Check them out HERE.
The addition of these 3 lovely colours brings our twine range to a total of 7 different colours to choose from.
They are excellent quality and value and at just $1.80 for 5 meters they are a great little extra to add to your order.
We are working busily behind the scenes to bring you more new and fresh products for our April sale and we will be sharing some sneaks over the course of the month. Thanks for visiting.
